This was one in a series of three films I shot and edited for client Landgate through Production House 90 Seconds. This one was special. Vicky was a little quirky, so I approached the edit in a similar fashion; style, structure and music in particular.
I also used a time-lapse technique near the end to add a visual kicker to the story. Check it out.
As with most of my shoots, time is of the essence. And if you are editing this film as well. Even if you are not, you should always be thinking of how the editor can make the images you shoot work as a story, with a beginning, a middle and an end. Most importantly, when you think you have enough overlay or B imagery, keep shooting. You never have enough.
