PADC Commune – fly on a wall

Creating interesting shots of people in a gathering can be challenging. I have adopted the ‘fly on the wall’ approach; shoot long lens (50-200mm), wide open at f2.8, short depth of field and just wait for the right moment. These I captured at a PADC creatives gathering/early morning coffee catch up. Then conducted a quick grade in Lightroom. I am happy. Yes, a couple of them are slightly soft but I don’t care. Real life beats tech any day.
