Required meticulous, detailed pre-production
This was filmed over one long day out in the wheatbelt of Western Australia. The budget was challenging, so it required, meticulous, detailed pre-production. It meant the location was crucial, so a few trips meandering along country roads, ensuring the light and the wheat in the paddocks, the road direction, not to mention the farmers, were all on our side. Great team effort from Annette at agency Rubis, who made the cyclist’s costumes. The hero talent was perfect, as were my friends and colleagues as the cyclists.
